Description:

[PE001] Received HIGHLY HONORED recognition from NATURE'S BEST PHOTOGRAPHY, WINDLAND SMITH RICE INTERNATIONAL AWARDS. Every winter, Bald Eagles come to Skagit River from all over the continent expecingpost-spawned salmon. I was drifting along the river on a boat and saw an eagle approaching. The eagle flew directly toward the spot I was preparing to photograph. This image is made from four consecutive shots stitched into one. It fulfilled my dream of capturing the patterns of wing profiles in flight.
